Winner Winner
When I decided to move forward with my YouTube channel “Mojave Model Railroad” as well as this website one thing was clear! I NEED TO FIND A WAY TO GIVE BACK! I never thought I’d get 100 subscribers never mind the base that just seems to keep growing. I hit 500 subscribers before I could even officially launch this website.
So as I hit milestones on YouTube as well as from time to time off this site, I’m going to be giving stuff away. Just my way of say thanks to all you that have supported this project, shared my posts, and encourage others to find their way to might site and YouTube channel.
This is one of the greatest hobbies in the world, with some of the greatest group of people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, even if it is remotely. I’m truly and will always be truly humbled to be associated with greatness…and that greatness is YOU!
I guess it is protocol to give away things on certain milestones and 500 being one of them. I hit that milestone pretty quickly which caught me off guard. I hadn’t even launched this website yet. I wasn’t sure what I was going to give away, well that isn’t accurate, I knew what I wanted to give away but as I hadn’t got this site up or the store I couldn’t.
That being said, as some point coming up on my YouTube channel I will be announcing the winners of my 500 Subscriber Contest. What does the winner get? Well, ME, No silly, not me, me, but a close representation. That's right three lucky winners will be randomly drawn from my subscribers on YouTube and win a Mojave Model Railroad 15oz. Caricature mug. That right you get to have coffee with me over breakfast…I know not the same thing but close. I’ve been told that the coffee or tea, even taste better in my mug. Who knew!
Anyway, I truly want to thank everyone for pushing me over that 500 subscribers mark so quickly. I hope you enjoy the content I’ll be putting out in future videos and let us share this hobby and collaboration of ideas and creativity together.
I’m still far off from getting to the 1000 subscribers on my YouTube channel but it has become clear to me it will happen at some point on 2021. So what do you do for that mile stone? Well I wanted something unique to give away to my subscribers, something, that even if you don’t own an HO layout it would be displayed. Thus the idea of a customized weather boxcar.
The idea is in the coming weeks I’ll record for the channel a weathering video. On this video I am going to take this BNSF Swoosh Logo Boxcar and add my own special touch. This is an Atlas Master Line Item #20 004 700 HO ATSF Bx-177 60’ Boxcar with road number 781226. I’m going to add my own Mojave Model Railroad Graffiti as well as the caricature I use on my logos. This will also be handed signed and dated on the bottom of the car by me as well as a piece of paper enclosed with a certificate of authenticity from me and my company.
Once the channel hits that 1000 subscriber mile stone all those subscribers will be entered in the contest and the winner will be announced on my channel, my social media as well as on this website. I will ship it worldwide so everyone has a chance to win this unique item. So feel free to really start to share my channel and encourage others to watch.
